Dr. Wang specializes in Early Modern European Art History, Historiography of Art, Art Literature, Iconography and epistemology in Early Modern Europe. Her dissertation focuses on the hybridization of genres in the painting of Diego Velázquez. Dr. Wang's current research interests center on the images as the embodiment of visual culture and study the epistemology of images and its interaction with the cultural context. Also, Dr. Wang is working on the research topic of the Curiosity Cabinets and Art Literature in Early Modern Europe.
