Welcome

Founded in 1993, the Graduate Institute of Art Studies has provided the first and leading Master of Arts program that integrates Eastern and Western modern art history in Taiwan. It has cultivated numerous young art historians and professionals in the arts and culture sector. The Institute offers a rich curriculum, supported by the great learning resources of the Art Center and Library. It publishes the Journal of Art Studies, a leading academic journal in the field in Taiwan, and the Art Symposium, the oldest and continuously issued art-related postgraduate journal in Taiwan, as well as the collaborative blog "Art History Strolls."
